In 1825, François BAIGNOL settled in LA FABRIQUE, on the edge of the Brigueuil forest, and founded one of the first factories in the department. Particularly innovative, in 1855 he carried out the first trial of gas firing in Limoges: a veritable revolution in the industry.
In 1962, Henri SEIGNOLLES and his associates acquired the "La Fabrique" factory. A total renovation and numerous investments were undertaken.
In 1976, the acquisition of a high-temperature tunnel furnace necessitated the construction of a new site on the old Route d?Aixe in Limoges: the company?s current premises.
J. SEIGNOLLES became the first factory in Limoges to produce dishwasher-proof decorations.
